We decided to build up this website because we are young journalists who once worked in media and now are wandering around the world seeing it with journalistic eyes. And we find a story everywhere. We visit interesting places and we meet cool people, so we want to write about it. Or take photos. Or report on a video/audio clip.

Denisa has a BA in Journalism and Communication Studies, a MA in Security and Defense and has previously worked in online media, written press and radio. She is strongly involved in the young journalists movement and works for different youth media NGOs.

Hi Paolo, and other readers of Youngjournalism. I am glad to see you are focused on European politics and the behavior of politicians! New media provide exciting opportunities for interaction between politicians and people all over Europe. It is therefore that I am setting up an Intergroup on New Media and Technology in the European Parliament.
I would like to let you know however that my Facebook Fanpage is and was not kept by myself, I do have a personal page which I update almost daily in both English and Dutch (http://www.facebook.com/marietjeschaake). Furthermore I am active on Twitter, also in English and Dutch (see @MarietjeD66).
If you measure the activity on my Facebook page and on Twitter again, looking at before and after the elections, please let me know your findings!
