OK, so you are a young journalist and you’ve attended an event, took a great interview of someone, written a comment or took a series of great pictures? Then send it/them to us and we will publish it/them!
This is why we’ve built the website – to give young journalists a platform where they can express themselves. Send us your piece attached to an email to denisa@youngjournalism.com and mention your name (or pseudonym), then add a short bio of 250 characters (spaces included) and a picture of you and press ’send’!
Did you happen to hear about any media event that would interest young journalists?
Anywhere in the world? On any possible topic? Then tell us! Post a comment here to give us details such as the name of the event, when and where it takes place and possibly a link. We will add it to the monthly media calendar and young journalists from across the world will have a chance to attend.
Denisa has a BA in Journalism and Communication Studies, a MA in Security and Defense and has previously worked in online media, written press and radio. She is strongly involved in the young journalists movement and works for different youth media NGOs.

Hi Paolo, and other readers of Youngjournalism. I am glad to see you are focused on European politics and the behavior of politicians! New media provide exciting opportunities for interaction between politicians and people all over Europe. It is therefore that I am setting up an Intergroup on New Media and Technology in the European Parliament.
I would like to let you know however that my Facebook Fanpage is and was not kept by myself, I do have a personal page which I update almost daily in both English and Dutch (http://www.facebook.com/marietjeschaake). Furthermore I am active on Twitter, also in English and Dutch (see @MarietjeD66).
If you measure the activity on my Facebook page and on Twitter again, looking at before and after the elections, please let me know your findings!
